The launch marks cooperation among regulators, media organizations, financial institutions and the business community to promote the development of Vietnam's capital market.
The forum is expected to be held annually as a platform for policy and strategic dialogue.
It will allow stakeholders to exchange views, share their vision and propose solutions to build a transparent, strong and sustainable capital market.

Experts said Vietnam's stock market had made significant progress in terms of size, liquidity and the number of investors over the past three decades.
However, they said the next stage of development would require more than market expansion.
It would also require improvements in capital mobilization and allocation to meet the economy's growing medium- and long-term investment needs.
Vietnam's investment capital demand is projected to reach approximately VND38.5 quadrillion (US$1.46 trillion) in 2026-2030 under the country's socioeconomic development orientation for the period.
Meanwhile, bank credit remains the primary source of capital for the economy.
The forum is expected to draw leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the State Securities Commission of Vietnam, representatives of FTSE Russell, banks, securities companies, fund management firms, credit rating agencies, businesses, and domestic and international financial experts.
