The inauguration ceremony on June 27 was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi, representatives from Masan, Magnit, and local partners.
Under the theme ‘Tropical Paradise,’ the space showcases Vietnamese fresh and processed fruits, beverages, sauces, seasonings, ready-to-eat foods, tea, and coffee featuring well-known brands such as Omachi, Chin-su, Nam Ngu, Vinacafé, and Phuc Long.
The corner not only meets the demand for high quality Vietnamese products but also offers Russian shoppers an opportunity to discover the rich cuisine and culture of Vietnam.
Magnit plans to replicate this model across its outlets nationwide.
Canned and dried fruits will be widely available at Magnit Family and Magnit Extra, while Omachi noodles will appear on shelves at convenience stores and supermarkets.
Speaking at the inauguration event, Ambassador Khoi congratulated the collaboration between Masan and Magnit, noting that this marks a new chapter for initiatives aimed at showcasing Vietnamese goods on a broader stage.
Nguyen Tan Ky, Masan’s sales director and representative for the Russian market, said the space is a milestone in Masan’s Go Global strategy.
The strategic partnership with Magnit, which operates over 31,400 stores across a Russian market of around 145 million people, will help Masan significantly broaden access to global consumers.
This launch follows the successful debut of the ‘Russia Corner’ at WinMart Royal City in Hanoi on June 12, which features commodities from over 30 Russian producers.
