Highway traffic police team No. 6 under the Ministry of Public Security said the violations were recorded on Sunday after 10 patrol teams monitored expressway sections using enforcement cameras.
Police said the drivers stopped in prohibited areas, mostly to sleep or urinate.
Notices of violations have been sent to the vehicle owners.
Common offenses included stopping outside designated areas, failing to switch on hazard lights when stopping in emergency lanes, and not placing warning signs at least 150 meters behind the vehicle.

Under Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, offenders face fines of VND12 million (US$456) to VND14 million ($533) and a six-point deduction from their 12-point driver’s licences.
Police said pulling over improperly on expressways is dangerous as vehicles typically travel at speeds of up to 90 km per hour.
Drivers are only allowed to stop in emergencies such as vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or medical situations.
