The pageant was first held in 2013 and most recently took place in 2022 in South Africa.
The competition has positioned itself as a platform that connects cultures and promotes global awareness of heritage preservation.
The 2026 edition will be the seventh season of the pageant and notably the first time it is staged in Asia.
The event has received official approval from the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and is scheduled to run from August 7 to August 13, with activities hosted in Da Nang and Hue, central Vietnam.
Over 40 beauties from countries and territories from around the world will participate in the competition.
The grand finale is set to take place on August 12 in Da Nang City.
Throughout the competition, contestants will engage in a series of cultural and tourism experiences in two of Vietnam’s culturally rich destinations.
They will visit and explore iconic landmarks such as the Dragon Bridge, the Cham Museum, and the Complex of Hue Monuments.
Also, contestants will join community-driven programs, including charity initiatives, cultural promotion events, and friendly running, contributing to spreading positive messages about responsible lifestyles and the importance of preserving cultural heritage.
The Miss Heritage Global 2026 will be highlighted by a traditional Vietnamese ao dai segment.
Other competition segments include national costume, sportswear, and evening gown presentations, culminating in the selection of the top five finalists who will advance to the final question-and-answer round.
Details regarding Vietnam’s official representative, the judging panel, and the crown for the 2026 winner are expected to be announced in the coming months.
