Ho Chi Minh University of Law (HCMULAW) has inaugurated a counseling room offering mental health support for students and skincare services for female staff, aiming to promote psychological well-being and self-care within the university community.

The mental health and skincare room of HCMULAW started operating on October 20.

University president Le Truong Son said academic pressure, work stress, and social relationships in modern life are significantly affecting young people’s mental health.

The university plans to hold regular talks and workshops on life skills and stress management, alongside one-on-one consultations and early screenings to identify psychological issues.

Students in need of additional support will be referred to in-house specialists or external medical professionals when necessary, he added.

The program aims to help students recognize early signs of stress, anxiety, and depression, and receive timely psychological counseling to maintain a positive mental state during their studies.

The center, which operates regularly and free of charge, brings together psychologists and dermatologists in a modern, friendly, and private space.

The skincare consultation service for female staff was launched as a special gesture for the university’s female employees on the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day, October 20.

“When women are valued and respected, they thrive and make even greater contributions to their workplaces, their families, and the society,” Son said.
