The match is scheduled for May 28 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as part of the Maybank Challenge Cup.
It marks Manchester United's first return to Malaysia in 16 years.
According to the VFF, Ha has over 20 years of experience officiating international matches under FIFA, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and AFF.
Her previous assignments include the 2019 and 2024 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the 2024–2025 AFC Champions League, the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, and the 2016 AFF Cup.
She has also served at numerous AFC Cup matches since 2008.
In women's football and futsal, Ha held match commissioner roles at the Olympic qualifiers since 2012, the AFC Women's Asian Cup, the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Uruguay 2018, and the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia 2024.
Most recently, she served at the 2025 AFC Women's Futsal Championship in China.
The AFF All-Stars will be coached by Vietnam national team head coach Kim Sang Sik.
The squad includes four Vietnamese players: Do Duy Manh and Nguyen Hai Long of Hanoi FC, Nguyen Hoang Duc of Phu Dong Ninh Binh FC, and Nguyen Van Vi of Nam Dinh FC.
The match is organized in collaboration with the Football Association of Malaysia, event partner ProEvents, and title sponsor Maybank.
The AFF said the event aims to showcase ASEAN football and promote regional unity through sport.
