Vietnamese teacher detained over alleged sexual abuse of schoolgirls

The suspect, identified as L.Q.L., serves as head of the youth team at an elementary school in Ayun Ha.

The case came to light after several students told their parents about the teacher's inappropriate touching and sexual misconduct.

The parents subsequently reported the incidents to authorities.

Following initial investigations by commune police and relevant agencies, the case was escalated due to suspected criminal behavior.

The provincial police department then took over the investigation and placed the teacher in temporary custody on suspicion of child molestation.
