Authorities have approved paragliding activities from Lang Biang, with take-off from the mountain’s hillside at 1,900 meters above sea level and landing near the famous ‘lonely pine tree’ by Dan Kia-Suoi Vang Lake.
The service is operated by Fly Dalat in cooperation with Lam Dong Tourist JSC, also known as Dalattourist.

While waiting for flights, visitors enjoy panoramic views of pine forests and the cool mountain air.
Each flight typically lasts 10-15 minutes depending on wind conditions, though the full experience including safety checks, protective gear, and instructions takes one to two hours.
Once airborne, passengers simply enjoy the scenery while pilots handle the controls, soaring above the Lang Biang Biosphere Reserve and descending toward the lakeside landing zone.

Nguyen Sang, a 35-year-old local resident, described the experience after her flight: “Once the wind lifts the parachute and your feet leave the ground, there’s no turning back. You’re flying.”
Thuy Ngan, a visitor from Can Tho City in southern Vietnam, said landing near the lonely pine tree was unforgettable: “I had taken photos there before, but seeing it from above was a completely different feeling.”

A Fly Dalat representative said that only 10-20 flights can be operated daily, depending on wind conditions, with priority given to online bookings.
Despite being launched just two months ago, the service has already attracted strong interest from both domestic and international tourists, with some returning for a second flight.
