Last Sunday, the Sirena, registered in the Bahamas, docked at Cam Ranh International Port while the Costa Serena, registered in Italy, anchored in Nha Trang Bay, carrying more than 3,000 passengers.

The foreign visitors disembarked to join short excursions to major attractions in Nha Trang, as well as rural and coastal areas in the southern part of the province, according to the provincial tourism department.

Khanh Hoa welcomed 25 international cruise ships with more than 30,000 passengers in 2025.

The province expects about 35 additional cruise calls through the end of 2026, many from large vessels carrying between 2,500 and 3,500 passengers.

Officials said improved port infrastructure has supported the rebound, with cruise operators now able to choose between Ana Marina Nha Trang International Port and Cam Ranh Port following the reopening of facilities in late 2025.
