The top Vietnamese leader welcomed CapitaLand Development’s plans to expand high-quality, green, and smart urban projects in Vietnam.
He affirmed Vietnam’s commitment to improving the investment environment and supporting foreign investors.
A CapitaLand executive said he was encouraged by Vietnam's ongoing institutional reforms and expressed interest in expanding investments in green housing, industrial real estate, logistics, and green data centers.
During talks with Sembcorp Industries, Party General Secretary and State President Lam praised the company's nearly three decades of operations in Vietnam, particularly through the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) network and energy projects.
He encouraged expansion so that each of Vietnam’s 34 provinces and cities could host at least one VSIP park, developed as green and smart industrial zones integrated with innovation, digital infrastructure, and low-emission manufacturing ecosystems.
Sembcorp pledged to continue investing in and supporting Vietnam with technology transfer and workforce training.

The Vietnamese leader also met executives of SATS Ltd., acknowledging the company's longstanding partnership with Vietnam Airlines.
He emphasized Vietnam’s priority in developing modern aviation and logistics infrastructure.
He urged SATS to expand collaboration in cargo terminals, airport logistics, and training.
SATS confirmed plans to invest in air cargo services and pledged to share expertise in airport logistics operations.
Representatives of SEA Limited, the parent company of Shopee, ShopeePay, and SPX, expressed admiration for Vietnam’s vision in science and technology as well as revealed their plan to expand operations in banking, financial services, and logistics in Vietnam.
Party General Secretary and State President Lam encouraged SEA Limited to deepen cooperation in e-commerce, digital payments, and AI applications to support small businesses and cross-border trade.

In discussions with Keppel Ltd., the top Vietnamese leader encouraged investment in green infrastructure, energy-efficient technologies, climate-resilient urban development, data centers, cloud computing, and AI infrastructure.
He also suggested exploring opportunities in smart cities, integrated real estate developments, and infrastructure supporting Vietnam's international financial centers.
UOB, which has invested in Vietnam since 1993, pledged to help develop Vietnam’s international financial centers.
A UOB leader said the bank would continue promoting foreign direct investment into Vietnam while helping Vietnamese companies access new markets, improve competitiveness, and integrate more deeply into ASEAN supply chains.
The Vietnamese head of state encouraged UOB to expand financial services and strengthen regional financial connectivity.
