The Vietnamese government leader expressed his sincere gratitude, stating that the award belongs to the Vietnamese people and nation, and that it was his honor to receive it on their behalf.
ALPF was organized by the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, in collaboration with partners such as the ASEAN Economic Club.
This year's ALPF was attended by representatives from ASEAN member states and the regional business community. The forum was not only a venue for delegates to identify global challenges but also an opportunity to jointly shape the future of ASEAN.

At the forum, president of the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific Michael Yeoh and other speakers praised Vietnam as one of the fastest-growing economies and a rising star in ASEAN.
They agreed that ASEAN is one of the world's most dynamic economic regions, marked by deep integration among member states and expanding relations with key partners, including the United States, China, Japan, Russia, India, and the GCC.
With its central role in regional economic linkages and multilateral free trade agreements, Vietnam offers investors access to a diverse range of markets and the entire ASEAN supply chain.
Therefore, investing in Vietnam is not only an investment in a dynamic, stable, and rapidly growing economy, but also a strategic move to connect with a region of over 700 million people.

Speaking at the forum, PM Chinh emphasized that the global situation is evolving rapidly, with increasing complexity and unpredictability. He pointed out that many countries are adjusting their policies, and there are numerous issues that no single country can resolve alone.
He stressed that there is no alternative but to strengthen solidarity among countries and businesses.
He also underlined the importance of upholding multilateralism to work together, pool efforts, and act in unity to address global challenges, which also encompass each country’s and each business’s own concerns.
Addressing the role of enterprises, the Prime Minister highlighted their vital and pioneering mission in contributing to the common goal of building a resilient, rapidly developing, and sustainable ASEAN that delivers tangible benefits to its people and society.
He urged businesses to enhance connectivity, thereby linking ASEAN economies more closely together and connecting ASEAN with the wider world.
Additionally, he called for contributions toward developing institutions and policies that promote harmonization among ASEAN member states and with other countries around the globe.
He also emphasized the need to reconnect disrupted supply and production chains as well as to diversify markets, products, and supply chains to better adapt to current challenges and avoid overdependence on a single market or region.
PM Chinh advocated for strengthening public-private partnerships and the development of agriculture in a green, clean, and digital manner.
To enable businesses to fulfill these roles, the Vietnamese Prime Minister stressed that governments must embrace their role of designing and implementing policies to ensure stability and create an environment of peace, cooperation, and development.
Such efforts, he concluded, would pave the way for fast and sustainable growth, especially in advancing the digital economy, green economy, circular economy, science and technology, and innovation.
