A nearly-one-minute video clip circulating on social media on Monday shows a woman having her phone knocked away by a passing train along Hanoi’s ‘train street.’

Speaking with Tuoi Tre (Youth) online newspaper, the commander of Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 under the Hanoi Police Traffic Police Division said that after being alerted to the incident on social media, the unit immediately dispatched officers to investigate.
Initial findings showed that the incident occurred in the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward.
Local police initially found no injuries. None of the parties involved reported the incident to authorities.
Relevant agencies are continuing to coordinate with police in Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward to verify the details of the incident.
On Monday afternoon, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 also sent a working group to the site to document the scene and handle violations involving the railway safety corridor.
