At around 11:00 am on Wednesday, Tran Thi Trang, 49, from La Lay Commune, discovered the unexpected deposit.

Unsure of its origin, she asked acquaintances but found no explanation.

Concerned about the situation, she reported the matter to the La Lay Commune police agency.

At the same time, the police unit received a report from Le Thi Ha, 51, of Khe Sanh Commune, who admitted she had accidentally transferred the large sum to the wrong account.

Distressed by the mistake, Ha sought help to recover the funds.

Authorities coordinated with the bank to verify the transaction, confirming that the money in Trang’s account was indeed Ha’s.

After completing the necessary procedures, police facilitated the return of the full amount.

The La Lay Commune police agency praised Trang’s integrity, noting that her decision to report and return the money reflects strong civic responsibility and sets an example of honesty for the community.
