The park is located along the Long Xuyen bypass, about 3.5 kilometers from the western North-South Expressway, with direct links to the Chau Doc-Can Tho-Soc Trang Expressway.
This positioning will facilitate transport of goods to Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Tran De port, and other major economic hubs.
The industrial park is designed to attract high-tech industries, food processing, agriculture and aquaculture, logistics, textiles and footwear, construction materials, IT, and electronics.
Once operational, it is expected to create jobs for about 7,800 workers, boosting investment capacity and supporting value-added sectors.
Addressing the ceremony, Nguyen Anh Tuan, deputy general director of T&T Group, said the project is one of the company’s key developments in the Mekong Delta.
He described it as a gateway industrial park for Long Xuyen, symbolizing the region’s shift from traditional agriculture to modern industry.
