Friday's flight figure surpassed last year's record of 159 flights during the peak tourism season.
Across Da Nang, hotels reported 98,000 guest bookings—a 6.4-percent increase from the same period in 2024—driven by an 81-percent surge in international visitors and an 18-percent rise in domestic arrivals, officials said.
The grand finale of the DIFF 2025, which began on May 31, is scheduled for 8:00 pm on Saturday along the Han River.
It features a showdown between Vietnam's Z121 Vina Pyrotech team and China's Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Display, each promising high-calibre aerial performances.

Z121 Vina Pyrotech will present 'Message of Peace,' featuring approximately 7,000 fireworks in four choreographed sequences set to vivid music and light.
Jiangxi Yangfeng, meanwhile, will accompany its display with a soundtrack of ten songs, including the Vietnamese viral hit 'Bac Bling', which has been popular on social media.
Celebrity performances will complement the fireworks show.
The event will also incorporate Sky AR virtual reality technology to immerse the audience in a hybrid physical-digital spectacle.
The closing ceremony will be broadcast live on VTV1.
