Do Xuan Hop Street in Nam Nha Trang Ward, which connects to Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, has been heavily damaged for years and now features a stretch of roughly 200 meters riddled with potholes and sinkholes.
Locals say the condition worsens during each rainy season.

Heavy vehicle traffic, including trucks transporting construction materials and private vehicles, continues to use the route daily.
Motorcyclists in particular face high risks navigating the road, especially when rainwater obscures the hazards, residents told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper.

Local officials have occasionally attempted temporary fixes by filling potholes with sand or gravel, but residents say those repairs are quickly washed away after rainfall.
Nguyen Van Minh, chairman of Nam Nha Trang Ward, said recent heavy rains had further damaged the road.
He added that authorities are preparing a list of infrastructure projects and plan to prioritize the road’s full restoration.
