The exhibition is part of the 8th International Conference and Exhibition on Control and Automation (VCCA 2026), co-organized by the Vietnam Automation Association, Quy Nhon University, and relevant agencies.
The event runs from Thursday to Saturday and features a scientific conference, a business forum, and an exhibition of the latest automation products and technologies.
Dr. Nguyen Quan, former minister of science and technology and president of the Vietnam Automation Association, said the event reflects the automation community's commitment to contributing to Vietnam's socio-economic development.

It also supports the implementation of Vietnam's policies on breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation, national digital transformation, and strategic technology development.
According to the organizers, the conference aims to serve as a prestigious international forum where Vietnamese and foreign scientists, researchers, and industry experts can exchange research findings, technological advances, and practical experience in control and automation.
Held under the theme 'Smart Automation – Strategic Technologies for the Digital Era,' the conference focuses on topics including industrial robot control, mobile robots, autonomous vehicles, biomedical electronics, automation in healthcare and agriculture, artificial intelligence, smart factories, smart cities, and intelligent technologies across various economic sectors.

Participants are also discussing solutions to build a 'Make in Vietnam' ecosystem for robot and drone development.
Alongside the conference, the exhibition features modern automation products and technological solutions from businesses, research institutes, and educational institutions.
Highlights include robotic arms, rescue drones, smart home technologies, and innovative products developed by Quy Nhon University students, attracting large numbers of visitors and students.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung, rector of Quy Nhon University, said the event is expected to promote research collaboration, technology transfer, innovation, and the development of high-quality human resources.
