HCMC - The 2nd HCMC River Festival officially kicked off at Nha Rong Wharf on the evening of May 31, starting a series of tourism, cultural, entertainment, sports, culinary, and shopping activities over the next 10 days.

For over 24 years, the Hue Festival has captivated visitors from around the world, drawing domestic and international guests to its enchanting events.
What makes 2023 particularly remarkable is that it marks the second consecutive year in which the Hue Festival was celebrated throughout the year, departing from its traditional periodic format. This extended celebration featured a diverse array of cultural and entertainment activities aimed at showcasing the unique heritage of this ancient capital. Notably, 2023 also commemorated the 30th anniversary of UNESCO’s recognition of the Hue Monuments Complex as a World Cultural Heritage site and the 20th anniversary of Hue Royal Court music being acknowledged as a Masterpiece of the Intangible and Oral Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
