VUNG TAU - Tucked away in a quiet street in Vung Tau City, a gallery is drawing curious crowds with its vibrant collection of diaphonized animal specimens. Each display, bathed in translucent colors, offers a hauntingly beautiful look at life after death.
Diaphonization is a process used to preserve and color animal bones and cartilage. It involves soaking the specimens in special chemicals that make the bones transparent and then staining them with vibrant colors.

The specimens on display are sourced ethically, with the gallery strictly adhering to a no-kill policy. Only animals that die naturally or are provided by individuals and organizations are used.

Specimens are available for purchase, with prices ranging from VND200,000 for smaller pieces to several million Vietnam dong for more elaborate specimens.
