A unique fashion show with dresses made from flowers and plants was held at the UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve, Cat Tien National Park, Dong Nai Province.
The “Cat Tien-Four Seasons of Green” collection, made by Vietnam’s noted designer Minh Hanh, showcased inspiring costumes fashioned from green leaves and dried tree branches, with a range of flowers growing in the national park such as bird-of-paradise flowers, golden chain flowers and peach blossoms. The event saw 20 models and local artists performing and was aimed at raising environmental awareness and biodiversity conservation in the community.
The show features common dress silhouettes made from natural materials to celebrate the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day (June 5) and the Month of Acting for Environment 2023A model wears a dress made from bird-of-paradise flowers growing in the Cat Tien National Park.
