HCMC - HDBank, whose HDB shares are traded on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE), said it plans to offer nearly 53.1 million bonds in the second tranche of a public issuance program.

The lender will issue a total of 100 million bonds, equivalent to VND10 trillion at a par value of VND100,000 per bond. The issuance will be carried out in two tranches, with the interval between the first and second tranches not exceeding 12 months. The first tranche, to be offered within 90 days, consists of two bond series: 25 million bonds under code HDBC7Y263301 with a seven-year tenor and 25 million bonds under code HDBC8Y263401 with an eight-year tenor. For the second tranche, expected to take place between the second and fourth quarters of 2026, the bank will issue two additional bond series, HDBC7Y263302 and HDBC8Y263402, with maturities of seven years and eight years, respectively. The total volume of bonds to be offered in the second tranche is expected to reach nearly 53.1 million bonds. Of this amount, the HDBC7Y263302 series will comprise more than 27 million bonds, including nearly 2.2 million bonds left unsubscribed from the first tranche and 25 million newly offered bonds. The HDBC8Y263402 series will consist of nearly 26 million bonds, including 876,000 bonds remaining from the first tranche and 25 million bonds planned for issuance in the second tranche According to the disclosure, the bonds are non-convertible, unsecured, and carry no warrants. Closing the trading session today, June 16, HDB rose 0.2% day-on-day to VND25,250, with roughly 11.4 million shares changing hands. On the southern bourse, the VN-Index added 8.63 points, or 0.48% against yesterday’s session, at 1,807.94, with advancers outnumbering decliners by 187 to 113. Trading volume fell 15% from the previous session to 672.8 million shares, while turnover dropped 34% to VND16.65 trillion. Block deals accounted for more than 99 million shares worth VND2.33 trillion. Blue-chip stocks in the VN30 basket traded in a mixed and subdued manner, with most posting only modest price movements. Brokerage firm SSI was the strongest performer, rising 2% to VND27,600, while lender ACB and airline VJC were among the weakest, each slipping by around 2%. SHB remained the market's most actively traded stock, with more than 47.8 million shares changing hands. The Hanoi Stock Exchange's HNX-Index rose 2.8% to close at 319.62 points, with 78 stocks advancing and 58 declining. Matched transactions totaled more than 76 million shares worth VND1.46 trillion, while negotiated deals added 16.8 million shares valued at VND405.8 billion.
