HCMC – Demand for dengue vaccinations has surged more than 40% as HCMC recorded 17,718 infections and four deaths in the first five months of the year, according to health authorities and a major vaccination provider.

HCMC - Long lines stretching several hundred meters formed outside the Independence Palace in downtown HCMC on the morning of April 30 as visitors waited to buy tickets to visit this historic place.
Many young visitors wore traditional and symbolic outfits, such as ao dai, youth union shirts, ao ba ba (a long-sleeved buttoned shirt paired with loose trousers), and conical hats. Some carried national flags while taking photos and touring the site. The location is a popular destination during the April 30 holiday.
