HCMC - The Prime Minister has signed Decision No. 189 appointing Trinh Manh Linh, assistant to the Prime Minister, as vice chairman of the Government Office, according to the Government news website (baochinhphu.vn).

Linh holds a PhD in economic management, a master’s degree in international trade, and a bachelor’s degree in law. In August 2023, he was picked as assistant to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, following his previous role as the Prime Minister’s secretary. Prior to his tenure at the Government Office, Linh worked in various positions within Party organizations and local agencies. The current vice chairs of the Government Office are Nguyen Sy Hiep, Mai Thi Thu Van, Do Ngoc Huynh, and Trinh Manh Linh, alongside Chairman Tran Van Son.
