HCMC – Major businesses that made successful investments in the central province of Quang Binh will share their experience with other investors at an event to be held in HCMC this Friday, March 25.

Speaking to Baodautu.vn news site ahead of the Quang Binh investment promotion conference, Vu Dai Thang, secretary of the provincial Party Committee, said Quang Binh changed its approach to investment promotion by organizing the event in HCMC this year, instead of in the province. The southern city is home to the most active investors in various fields, such as industry, forestry, services and tourism. The central province will take the initiative to meet potential investors and call for their investment, Thang added. The fourth wave of Covid infections took a heavy toll on businesses in the south, including those in HCMC. However, they are restoring production to compensate for the damage caused by the pandemic. “Accordingly, I think that organizing the investment promotion event in HCMC is essential and logical,” Vu stressed. The provincial Party chief said HCMC is home to a host of real estate companies that are proactive and possess lots of ideas to develop travel, services, lodging products as well as a healthy and attractive property market. Among the economic sectors in Quang Binh, the province has paid special attention to the wood sector as the province’s forest cover ranks second nationwide. Businesses in HCMC can consider investing in wood processing or the relevant industries.
