HCMC – Construction of Long Thanh International Airport's Component 3 has reached nearly 76% of the value of signed contracts, with more than 7,300 workers deployed under a 180-day acceleration campaign, according to the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).

HCMC - North-South Expressway rest areas that are under construction or have just been put into service will be placed under review to ensure whether they comply with the master plan.
The Ministry of Transport has written to the authorities of Lang Son, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Thua Thien-Hue, Long An, and Tien Giang provinces, informing them of the review. A working team will inspect these rest areas, according to the Vietnam News Agency. The local authorities have been assigned to work with rest area investors to make sure that they will send a report on the investment and operation status of their rest areas by November 3. Previously, the ministry approved a plan to develop 36 rest areas along the cross-country expressway, stretching from the northern province of Lang Son to the southernmost province of Ca Mau. Until now, a total of seven rest areas have been put into operation, while two others are under construction.
