HCMC – Two cars collided on National Highway 22 in the outlying district of Cu Chi in HCMC at daybreak today, June 20, leaving two people dead.

The police of Cu Chi District are investigating the deadly road accident occurring on the section of the highway in Tan Thong Hoi Commune at 1:00 a.m. on the day, the local media reported. The preliminary investigation results showed that after the crash, one of the two cars caught fire, leading to one of the four people aboard being killed at the scene. The deceased was a woman. Among the three remaining rescued from the burning car by residents nearby, one man was pronounced dead on the way to hospital.
