HCMC will add new river tourism products under a US$38 million investment plan by LuxGroup, which aims to develop a fleet of boutique cruise vessels serving river and coastal routes in southern Vietnam.

The U.S. has announced a temporary suspension of visa application processing for citizens of 75 countries starting January 21 as part of a comprehensive review of its screening procedures to curb the risk of immigrants becoming a burden on the social welfare system, with Vietnam not included in the list of affected countries.
