Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City has unveiled the Lobby Memory Wall, a permanent installation created to celebrate the hotel's 30th anniversary. Located beside the grand staircase in the main lobby, the display opens a year of anniversary celebrations while recognising the guests, partners, leaders and associates who have contributed to the hotel's journey since 1996.

Phan Nguyễn Bảo Trân, a former student of the Vietnam Australia International School (VAS), has successfully secured a 50% academic scholarship to RMIT University to major in Psychology. The achievement follows her high-profile success at the National Science and Engineering Fair, one of Vietnam’s most prestigious academic competitions.
Driven by a passion for environmental research, Trân partnered with her classmate, Thiên An, to develop a project titled "Synthesis of Bio-polymeric Materials from Orange Peels and Applications in Biodegradable Bag Manufacturing." The research project won First Prize at the Municipal Level before going on to claim the Second Prize at the National Level. Reflecting on the achievement, Trân credited her success to a combination of personal dedication, mentorship from her teachers, and the academic foundation she built during her 12 years at VAS. School representatives noted that the institution's Cambridge international bilingual curriculum played a critical role in developing the analytical, research, and critical thinking skills necessary for such high-level scientific inquiry. "The practical skills, hands-on project experience, and public speaking confidence cultivated through school activities were essential in helping the team navigate the rigorous judging process," a VAS representative stated. With her robust academic track record, well-rounded soft skills, and advanced English proficiency, Tran's transition to RMIT University marks the next chapter in her academic journey.
