According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the festival will be themed 'Ocean Colors – Reaching International Heights.'
A series of supporting activities will be held from July 10 to August 10 at April 2 Square in Nha Trang and various locations across Khanh Hoa Province.
Key events of the sea festival include the opening ceremony at 8:00 pm on July 17 at April 2 Square, a street carnival and floral float parade, and a closing ceremony combined with the 'Unite the Continents' concert.
The 2026 festival will also feature a wide range of cultural, culinary, artistic, sports, and tourism activities, including the Khanh Hoa bird’s nest festival, the 'Flavors of the Coastal City – Summer Melodies' program, the Vietnam 'ao dai' festival, the Lam Son fruit festival, the VPS Cup Nha Trang 2026 International Sailing Regatta, trail running competitions, golf tournaments, and beach soccer matches.
Le Van Hoa, deputy director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said organizers had worked with hotels, resorts, and other accommodation providers across the province to offer discounted rates for festival-goers.
Regarding traffic management and public security, Hoa said the organizing committee had coordinated with Nha Trang Ward authorities and the provincial police to develop traffic diversion plans and security measures throughout the event.
Thai Thi Le Hang, director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said Nha Trang’s current tourism infrastructure is capable of accommodating the expected number of visitors.
She added that the tourism sector would prioritize monitoring and enforcing price transparency to ensure visitors enjoy the best possible experience during the festival.
