Vietnam plans gold trading floor to boost market transparency, stability

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has instructed the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to tighten oversight of the gold market to curb illicit activities, narrow the gap between domestic and international gold prices to stabilize the market, and establish a regulated trading platform to promote transparency.
