Ho Chi Minh City’s FDI firms rise 41% in five years, employ over a quarter of workforce
Economy 12:49 01/08/2026Ho Chi Minh City had more than 14,000 foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises as of December 31, 2025, up 41 percent from 2020, employing more than 1.6 million workers, or over a quarter of the city's total workforce, according to the 2026 Ho Chi Minh City economic census.
