Vietnam's $31bn e-commerce market, among ASEAN's top 3, still struggles with counterfeits

Vietnam's e-commerce market reached an estimated US$31 billion in 2025, but counterfeit goods, false advertising and other consumer protection issues remain persistent challenges, prompting the Ministry of Industry and Trade to propose measures to strengthen consumer confidence.
