The VND79.79 trillion (US$3.03 billion) project will span 76.92 hectares on the site of the former Chau A (Asia) Park in the heart of Da Nang City.

With its prime location along the Han River, nestled between Tran Thi Ly and Tien Son Bridges, Da Nang Downtown has been dubbed the 'center of the center' and is regarded as one of the city's last remaining 'diamond' plots.

The mega complex will include a cultural and entertainment park, a theater, a riverside commercial quarter, and a green park stretching along the river.

At its core will rise an iconic 69-story, 408-meter tower, set to transform the city's skyline.

While Hanoi already features iconic towers such as the 72-story Keangnam (350 meters) and the 65-story Lotte Center (272 meters), and Ho Chi Minh City is home to Landmark 81 (461 meters), the 69-story tower at Da Nang Downtown is set to become a new architectural symbol for central Vietnam.

The tower will house a mix of functions, including a five-star hotel, Grade A offices, luxury apartments, a shopping mall, restaurants, bars, an observation deck, and a convention and event center.

Boasting a central location with seamless connectivity, Da Nang Downtown is set to become a premier hotspot for leisure, entertainment, and shopping, and a vibrant hub for the region's nightlife, rivaling iconic destinations like Clarke Quay and Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

The cultural and entertainment park will feature a theater spanning over 9,000 square meters with 4,000 seats, including an opera hall and a multifunctional hall, alongside museum spaces and an exhibition center.

Sun Group also plans to host world-class outdoor performances featuring leading international artists, organize spectacular fireworks displays, and further enhance the Han River's nightlife economy.
