On the same street, a luxury Lexus vehicle was severely damaged after being struck by a roadside tree.
On Cau Buou Street, heavy rain caused trees to fall during rush hour, leading to severe traffic congestion.
At Sky Light apartment complex, located at 125D Minh Khai Street in Bach Mai Ward, strong winds caused sections of the building’s plaster ceiling to collapse.

According to a weather bulletin issued at 4:10 pm on Saturday by the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, satellite images, lightning tracking data, and radar showed convective cloud formations developing over northern Hanoi and expanding into the inner city.
The forecast predicted that these storm clouds would continue to bring rain to the affected areas and gradually spread to other neighborhoods across the city.
Thunderstorms may be accompanied by whirlwinds, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.
