In Trung Tam Ward, trees fell along Provincial Road 174, blocking traffic and crushing a car.
Fortunately, both passengers inside escaped unharmed.
Local authorities and police quickly arrived to clear debris and restore traffic flow.

In Nghia Lo Ward, a large tree collapsed in front of the People’s Committee office, striking a sanitation worker.
Emergency services provided first aid and transferred the victim to Lao Cai General Hospital No. 3 for treatment.
The storms also tore roofs off houses, damaged billboards, and destroyed other structures.
Meanwhile, in neighboring Phu Tho Province, heavy rain and hail on Sunday morning hit the Hung Kings Temple area, uprooting three large banyan trees, blocking internal roads within the site, and damaging a car struck by a fallen tree.
