The Bac Ninh industrial park management board’s official told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that the tornado caused no casualties, but property damage was significant.
The tornado ripped off large metal sheets and damaged parts of factories.
Fallen trees and utility poles also disrupted traffic.

The board pledged to work with affected businesses to assess losses and restore operations.
Videos shared on social media showed massive metal roofing sheets spiraling into the air at an electronics factory, forcing workers and residents to scramble for cover.
Other footage captured trees collapsing across roads and even a truck overturned by the forceful winds.

The tornado moved toward areas near Hanoi, drawing attention as Bac Ninh borders the Vietnamese capital.
Though such weather events are rare in northern Vietnam, officials warned they can cause severe property damage and pose serious risks to public safety.
