Located in Cat Tien Commune, Phu Cat District, the Phuong Mai wind farm spans 122 hectares and features towering wind turbines that leave a strong visual impression.

Each turbine stands 114 meters tall with blades reaching up to 132 meters in diameter, creating a striking landscape amid rolling sand dunes and casuarina forests.

Visitors can easily access the site from downtown Quy Nhơn by heading north across the Thi Nai Bridge, turning left onto National Highway 19B, and continuing straight for about 12 kilometers.

From a distance, the giant blades of the wind turbines come into view on the left side of the road.

"I found this place thanks to a guide on TikTok,” shared Le Xuan Thu, a tourist from Gia Lai Province, located in the Central Highlands.

“From afar, the turbines look stunning as they spin over the sand dunes, but I was amazed by just how mighty they actually are when seen up close.”

One of the site’s main advantages is its convenient location.

The Phuong Mai wind farm is situated not far from the Nhon Hoi wind power plant on Phuong Mai Mountain, and lies near several other popular tourist spots, including Trung Luong Beach, Ky Co - Eo Gio, Hon Kho Island, and the tallest Buddha statue in Southeast Asia.

Nguyen Thi Kim Chung, deputy director of the Binh Dinh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, noted that the wind farm on the Phuong Mai Peninsula has strongly impressed tourists visiting Quy Nhơn and the surrounding region.

She added that a number of domestic businesses have conducted surveys and are planning to invest in tourism and service infrastructure on the peninsula, aiming to improve amenities and enhance the visitor experience.
