The event, titled ‘Heavenly Horse Bearing Fire – Rekindling Memories,’ features dozens of paper lanterns created by art group Khoi Dang Tac Khi over the past year.
The exhibition runs daily from 2:00 pm to 8:10 pm until October 12 at Son Tra Temple in Tan Dinh Ward.

A 20-meter-long dragon lantern, based on designs used in lantern processions over a century ago, is one of the highlights.
It was completed over four weeks by the group’s members and has drawn frequent attention from visitors.

Two mantis-shaped lanterns displayed at the altar are also a focal point.
“This lantern is part of our effort to preserve cultural values and raise awareness about biodiversity,” group member Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet said.

The exhibition also includes lanterns shaped like carp, crabs and other animals, as well as traditional figurines and butterfly-themed decorations.
Visitor Le Nguyen Quynh Nhu said she brought her children after seeing the event on social media.

“My family usually attends cultural events during the Mid-Autumn season,” she said.
Son Tra Temple, built in the 1860s by migrants from central Vietnam, is a rare example of preserved community architecture in the city.
