The Vietnamese version of the French kids’ dictionary “L'encyclopédie Dokéo + Réalité augmenté - 9/12 ans” (Dokeo + Encyclopedia for 9-12 year-old kids) will be released on August 17.
The translated version of the encyclopedia, compiled by 70 French writers, artists and scientists over a two-year period, will be launched at Hanoi L’Espace tomorrow.
The 400-page book features knowledge from all areas, ranging from natural and social sciences to art, sports and entertainment, and varies from scientific principles to topical issues.
Each page is packed with pictures, with all natural and social phenomena presented with cute illustrations and easy-to-understand explanations and notes. The book also features 250 interesting facts about 100 key historical figures.
During the book launch, a program called “Taking up challenges with Dokeo”, which features world-discovering games, will also be introduced for readers over 9 years of age.
