Tan Nhut Commune police said officers on patrol with local security forces discovered two separate cases of illegal dumping along Nguyen Cuu Phu Street late on Thursday night.

Authorities said one man was caught dumping durian husks on vacant land near the road at about 9:00 pm, while another man was found disposing of garbage at the same location about 30 minutes later.

Both men admitted to dumping waste in unauthorized areas, police said.
