Used clothes collected for charity become 300-tonne treatment problem in Hanoi

Hundreds of metric tons of hand-me-down clothes collected by an individual over several years for charitable purposes have piled up at a road construction site in Hanoi, turning a well-intentioned effort into a disposal problem expected to cost more than VND200 million (US$7,730).
