These charging stations will be strategically located along major national and provincial highways across 34 provinces and cities, according to the company.
The spacing between those stations will be carefully calculated to enhance inter-regional connectivity, allowing EV users to travel long distances with greater confidence, whether on interprovincial routes or cross-country journeys.
Each station will be equipped with up to 100 charging guns, delivering a capacity of 150kW per gun.
Vehicles could be charged sufficiently in roughly 15 minutes to continue their journey.
If completed on schedule, the network would rank among the largest high-capacity charging systems available in the market.
A notable feature of the project is its reliance on renewable energy.
All 99 charging stations will be powered by wind and solar energy sources, combined with battery energy storage systems developed and manufactured by EV maker VinFast.
This integrated approach is expected not only to improve operational efficiency but also to contribute to reducing carbon emissions in the transportation sector.
A V-Green representative said that the development of charging stations along interprovincial roads would mark a turning point for Vietnam’s EV infrastructure strategy.
While existing charging networks have largely been concentrated in urban areas, residential zones, and commercial centers, the expansion into inter-regional transport corridors aims to address one of the most persistent concerns among EV users: long-distance travel.
As of the end of 2025, V-Green had completed planning for 150,000 charging ports for electric cars and motorbikes nationwide.
In the next phase, alongside the deployment of super charging stations for electric cars, the firm will continue expanding its battery swapping network for electric motorbikes to increase infrastructure coverage.
On the same day, VinFast also announced it had received further recognition in India, winning the ‘EV Champion of the Year’ title at the Jagran Hi-Tech Awards 2026 and the ‘Breakthrough Brand of the Year’ award at the Car&Bike Awards 2026.
These latest accolades bring VinFast’s total number of awards in the Indian market to more than 20 within just over a year of entry.
Previously, its VF7 model had been named the ‘Electric SUV of the Year,’ while the VF6 had been recognized as the ‘Value for Money Car of the Year.’
