Race to Legends is a series of stages designed to select the top-performing golfers who will qualify for the main event — the Vietnam Legends Championship 2025, set to take place from November 25 to 30.
Stage 1 of Race to Legends is being held at Dalat Palace Golf Club in Lam Dong, featuring six veteran professional golfers alongside approximately 100 Vietnamese participants, including business professionals, young athletes, and even junior golfers.
The six legends appearing at the opening event are Phil Harrison, Jeremy Robinson, Gary Murphy, Van Phillips, Gary Evans, and Bill Longmuir — all well-known names from their competitive days, each with an impressive record of major wins.
These players have since transitioned to the Legends Tour, a professional golf circuit for players aged 50 and above.

At the opening ceremony, Nguyen Gia Bao, chairwoman of main organizer The Golf House Vietnam and vice-chair of the tournament’s organizing committee, said the event marked the beginning of the full championship season.
“We’re thrilled and honored to welcome legendary golfers, as well as around 100 Vietnamese golfers,” she said.
“We hope everyone has a fun, enthusiastic, and successful day on the course.”
Following Stage 1, the six legends will continue to Stage 2, which will be held at KN Golf Links in Khanh Hoa Province.
The final event, Vietnam Legends Championship 2025, will bring together 120 golfers — approximately 60 legends and 60 amateur players.
