Vietnam navy submarine regiment launches 2026 training program

The unit completed its training and combat readiness tasks in 2025 while maintaining safety and improving training quality in line with maritime operational requirements.

In 2026, the regiment will focus on mastering modern weapons and equipment, combining military training with political education and drills to improve personnel’s ability to handle situations in a specialized environment.

Rear Admiral Hoang Luong Ngoc, deputy chief of staff of the Vietnam People’s Navy, praised the unit’s performance over the past year and called for continued improvements in training methods, with an emphasis on realistic combat scenarios and readiness.

The regiment also launched a training emulation campaign and began drills following the ceremony.
