These disguised vehicles are equipped with specialized recording devices capable of capturing traffic violations in real time.

The collected data will be used as evidence to issue penalties.

A range of common infractions recorded by these vehicles include illegal stopping and parking, speeding, improper lane changes, driving in emergency lanes, failing to signal when changing lanes, and not adhering to designated lanes.

“These vehicles that appear entirely ordinary and are traveling alongside drivers may be quietly documenting violations,” a representative from the department stated.

The introduction of undercover patrol vehicles is intended to strengthen deterrence and encourage stricter compliance with traffic regulations on expressways.

The measure are also intended to address a persistent issue in which drivers deliberately commit violations in areas without fixed surveillance camera systems.
