According to the authority, it received an official request from the Ministry of Public Security to cooperate in the fight against crime and violations.
They identified 12 nutritional and food products in powdered milk form as counterfeit.
The Vietnam Food Safety Authority instructed provincial and municipal health departments, the Food Safety Department in Ho Chi Minh City, the Food Safety Management Board in Da Nang City in the central region, and local food safety agencies to review, inspect, and coordinate with competent local authorities to recall all counterfeit products still circulating in the market.
The list of 12 counterfeit milk powder products includes:

2. COLOS IQ DIABETES (dietary supplement)
3. DARIFA A+ ProGold (dietary supplement)
4. KENMIL PREMIUM PEDIA GOAT (formula nutrition product)
5. SURE IQ SURE GOLD (food for special dietary use)
6. Kodo A+ Starter Colostrum 1 (formula nutrition product)
7. L’’ GRAND COLOSTRUM PEDIA+2 (formula nutrition product)
8. Newsure Colos 24h Kid Plus (formula nutrition product)
9. Kid Baby Talacmum (formula nutrition product)
10. Gludiabet Talacmum (food for special dietary use)
11. KASUMI CANXI NANO COLOS 24H (food for special dietary use)
12. KASUMI GAIN COLOS 24H 3 (nutrition product)
The authority urged all units to coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security’s investigation agency to handle the case in accordance with the law.
This agency also warned the public not to use 72 other milk powder products of Rance Pharma Company and Hacofood Group, both in Hanoi, that are currently under investigation.
Consumers are advised to wait for the final conclusion from the police before using any of these products.
Relevant agencies were instructed to strictly follow directives to enhance inspection and handling of food safety violations.
The Ministry of Public Security had previously busted a large-scale operation involving 573 types of counterfeit milk powder and arrested eight suspects.
They are being investigated for producing and selling counterfeit food and violating accounting laws with serious consequences.
The fake milk powder products were marketed toward vulnerable groups, including diabetics, people with kidney failure, premature infants, and pregnant women.
These products have been distributed widely in Vietnam, specifically outside hospitals, in remote areas, and on e-commerce platforms.
