An ocean pool villa at Amanoi
The announcement, made on October 8, marked a historic moment for the brand that has celebrated culinary excellence for more than a century.
Among the elite honorees, Amanoi, an Aman resort set amid the tranquil landscapes of Nui Chua National Park overlooking Vinh Hy Bay in Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam, received the Three MICHELIN Keys distinction – the highest honor awarded.
The recognition celebrates properties that offer exceptional stays where architecture, design, service, and hospitality align in seamless harmony.
Amanoi joins Capella Hanoi as one of only two hotels in Vietnam to achieve Three Keys, and it stands as the country's only remote resort to receive the accolade.
The honor, Aman said, represents more than excellence in service, as it is a celebration of community, craftsmanship, and the shared dedication that have defined Amanoi since its opening in 2013.
"It is through the dedication of our team, the guidance of our public partners, and the trust of our guests that Amanoi continues to excel," said Joy Arpornrat Kuekthong, a member of the Amanoi Executive Committee.
Globally, several Aman properties – including Amanpuri in Thailand, Aman Venice in Italy, Amangiri in the U.S., Amanjiwo in Indonesia, Aman New York, and Amanemu in Japan – were also awarded the Three MICHELIN Keys distinction, underscoring Aman's continued commitment to refined hospitality.
Founded in 1988, Aman began with Amanpuri, meaning 'place of peace,' in Phuket, Thailand.
The brand has since grown into a collection of 36 intimate hotels, resorts, and branded residences across 20 destinations, blending understated luxury with the warmth of a private home.
Several new Aman projects are currently under development worldwide.
