The high-level Vietnamese delegation attended the exhibition at the invitation of Turkey’s Ministry of National Defense.

SAHA 2026 brought together more than 1,700 companies from 120 countries, including major defense corporations, government and military organizations, as well as research and development centers.

Vietnam’s participation reaffirmed its consistent policy of strengthening international defense integration and promoting cooperation in defense industry development toward self-reliance, modernization, and dual-use capabilities.

These efforts contribute to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern military capable of meeting national defense requirements in the current context.

Through the exhibition, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense introduced the country’s defense industry while also exchanging knowledge and experience in preparation for the third Vietnam International Defense Expo scheduled for December.

During the event, the delegation visited booths of leading global defense companies to explore the latest advancements in defense technology, aerospace industry, modern weapon systems, and dual-use solutions, while fostering cooperation in research, development, and technology transfer.

Notably, Viettel High Tech, under military-run group Viettel, showcased 73 hi-tech products across eight key sectors. These included radar systems, electronic warfare, unmanned aerial vehicles, electro-optics, military communications, command-and-control systems, simulation models, and private 5G networks.

This portfolio reflects Vietnam’s strategic direction toward building a comprehensive defense technology ecosystem and demonstrates its growing capability in mastering core technologies.

SAHA 2026 also marks an important step for Viettel to integrate more deeply into the global defense industry supply chain, paving the way for “made-in-Vietnam” solutions to expand into international markets.

The exhibition featured over 300 new defense technology products and solutions, including land systems such as armored vehicles, artillery, and combat robots; air systems including military aircraft, helicopters, and radar.

It also highlighted naval systems such as warships, submarines and sonar, space technologies involving satellites and launch control systems, and unmanned platforms across air, land and sea domains.

Emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation were also prominently featured.
