Coach Kim Sang Sik and his players took to the pitch after Thailand completed their training session earlier the same day.
All 25 Vietnam players were in good condition, with no injuries reported ahead of Wednesday’s title decider.
Vietnam carry a 2-0 advantage from the first leg in Bangkok, but the squad are refusing to take the result for granted as they stand one match away from the trophy.
“The reality is that we still have nothing because we have not won the cup yet,” Kim told a pre-match press conference.
“The players know what they have to do.”
Forward Nguyen Dinh Bac struck a similar note.
“We are treating it as if the score were still 0-0,” he said. “We are keeping our feet on the ground.”
Before the training session, Kim told a South Korean reporter that the titles he had previously won with Vietnam had mostly been secured in away matches.
The South Korean coach said he was therefore eager to lift the trophy at My Dinh and celebrate the achievement in front of Vietnamese supporters.
