Vietnam suspends teaching at private university over rule violation

Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training has suspended all higher education activities at a private university over its violation of government regulations.

According to the ministry, Ha Hoa Tien University is the school in question.

The university has violated government regulations on conditions for investment and operation in the field of education.

The suspension lasts 12 months from June 17.

During this period, the university is required to fulfill all requirements in order to resume teaching activities according to current laws.

The school has to report to the ministry on their rectification every three months.

The ministry has also demanded that the university ensure the rights and interests of all students, teachers, administrators, and employees.

Ha Hoa Tien University was established in 2007 as a private higher education institution in Hoang Dong Ward, Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province, northern Vietnam.
